Orphan Punks or Glamour Punks???

Got to say I'm with those for the Orphan Punks - once again I do like both but the Orphan Punks have that something extra for me.

I remember I got the "running with scissors" record from a friend and I thought it was ok, but it never really stuck... The Glamour Punks first made me laugh violently with all the dum-da-dum-da-dum-da blitz punk drums and then made me sit down and really listen to it and their tunes are still in my head today, even if I haven't listened to the demos for a while now.

Yeah... but seeing this thread I guess I have to go home and give the Orphan Punks a second chance:-)))

Never understood what was so great about GLAMOUR PUNKS....guess it was their image...cuz their music was ...let me be nice here....Their music was...ummm....how can I say this nicely....ummm....NOT GOOD!!!!!!!!!

Can you vote twice?? I give a vote to each band, they're both great and unique in their own way.

Finally I remembered to bring the Orphan Punks CD to work and I'm listening to it now.

This is a lot better than I remembered it as. I remembered Ronnie Is an Idiot and Beatles records and a few others, but I Got a Bomb is a forgotten gem.

Anyone who don't know the Orphan Punks should seriously consider checking them out!!!

Now on the topic I'll have to say that I still preffer the Glamour Punks..... simply because they are glam and a tad more unique in their blend of music. The Orphan Punks are a teriffic melodic punk band.
